40% of the world's population continue to live in unsanitary conditions, with no clean place to go to the toilet. In low-lying Bangladesh the lack of sewage disposal and open defecation is an immense problem because of annual flooding and Dhaka is a mega city in which the unsanitary slum areas are constantly expanding.
