Logging in the Republic of Congo dramatically affects the Ba'aka Pygmies, the people who live in and depend on the forest. As the logging companies destroy their forest home their unique culture is rapidly disappearing. The Congo Basin, in which the Congo lies, supports the largest stretch of unbroken forest outside the Amazon and produces some of the world's richest biodiversity.
